Taryn FatesTaryn Lomnicki was born and raised in Wood Dale. She has had a passion for dance ever since she took her first class at 3 years old. She attended Lincoln College where she got her Fine Arts Degree, and that is where she truly fell in love with the idea of teaching dance. She became a representative for the schools Dance Company, and was on the Dance Force team that performed at half time of sporting events.  She has choreographed multiple dances for the Dance company, Dance Force, as well as the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” for the schools’ theater program. Taryn was then offered to work as a performer, be a Dance Captain at Six Flags Great American, and was with the company for 6 years while studying dance at Columbia College in Chicago. During her time at Great America, she was offered the opportunity to work as a performer at Walt Disney World, in their annual Christmas parade at Magic Kingdom. Next, Taryn was offered the role of Assistant Director for a  Dance Company in Westmont. She taught a wide variety of dance classes, as well as led her competition company to first place finishes in 2013. Taryn has been teaching dance for 7 years, has had her own studio for 4, and is eager to bring her knowledge and passion for the art everywhere she goes.

 

 

Miss Helen

Miss Helen

Helen received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance
Performance/Choreography at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
She also had the opportunity to substitute Tap for different
age levels for her professors. Helen has gone from substitute
teaching to teaching many different genres including Tap,
Jazz, Musical Theater, Ballroom, Pointe, and more! She has
had the opportunities to choreograph the Nutcracker as
well as many dance recital pieces. She currently is in a
professional modern dance company called J. Lindsay Brown
Dance here in Chicago. Helen is very excited to be a part of
Di Bella Dance Center and will be teaching Pointe, Ballet, and
Tap. She wants to wish everyone dancing today the best of
luck and cannot wait to meet them in class!

 

 

Miss Kimberly

Miss Kimberly

Miss Kimberly began dancing at the age of three beginning at the Addison Park District. At the age of six, she enrolled in the Academy of Dance Arts in Downers Grove where she trained under the guidance of former professional Ballerina Sherry Murray and her trusted instructors. Miss Kimberly was trained in Jazz, Hip hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Tap and took the technique-only based class of stretch and strengthening. During high school, she joined the school’s dance team (Orchesis) and was a board member for her Junior and Senior year while continuing her training at the Academy during summers. After high school, she attended Elmhurst College where she joined Elmhurst College Dance Team and lead the team her Junior and Senior year as Captain. Additionally, Miss Kimberly obtained her Dance Minor focusing on Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Choreography, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Every year Miss Kimberly participated and choreographed for three showcases including a showcase her team hosted. After college, Miss Kimberly went on to John Marshall Law School and obtained her JD. While in Law School, she choreographed for her former college team, choreographed for dance studios, and became an Instructor at the Addison Park District where she has been instructing for the past four years. Miss Kimberly is very excited to join the Di Bella Dance program this year and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of dancers!”
