Owner, Head Instructor
Taryn Lomnicki was born and raised in Wood Dale. She has had a passion for dance ever since she took her first class at 3 years old. She attended Lincoln College where she got her Fine Arts Degree, and that is where she truly fell in love with the idea of teaching dance. She became a representative for the schools Dance Company, and was on the Dance Force team that performed at half time of sporting events. She has choreographed multiple dances for the Dance company, Dance Force, as well as the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” for the schools’ theater program. Taryn was then offered to work as a performer, be a Dance Captain at Six Flags Great American, and was with the company for 6 years while studying dance at Columbia College in Chicago. During her time at Great America, she was offered the opportunity to work as a performer at Walt Disney World, in their annual Christmas parade at Magic Kingdom. Next, Taryn was offered the role of Assistant Director for a Dance Company in Westmont. She taught a wide variety of dance classes, as well as led her competition company to first place finishes in 2013. Taryn has been teaching dance for 7 years, has had her own studio for 4, and is eager to bring her knowledge and passion for the art everywhere she goes.
Tammy Zach started her ballet journey studying at Boistov Ballet and then with Ruth Page School of dance. She then went on to dance for Wisconsin Ballet Theatre. She then opened up her own school, Dance by Tamara Zach where she taught for 20 years. After retiring from owning her school she realized that she missed her passion and is thrilled to be a part of Di Bella Dance Center.
